Unlike most games where you are playing the role of another person, in You are a Muffin you are a pastry in a cozy café or coffee shop. Each customer will place an order, and perhaps take a seat to stay a while. There’s a chance that they might choose you as their snack, but that’s fine. After all, that’s why you were made.
A solo game? Yes, please! A solo game from the perspective of an object? HELL YEAH. Anyone can be a wizard, but it takes an admirable amount of curiosity to be a muffin.
You are a Muffin is a pastry-centric solo journaling RPG. Leave your human life behind and slip into the life of a café snack. Observe customers as they come and go. Listen to the music the baristas play. You’re slowly going stale, but that’s okay. Will someone choose you? Will you end up in the day-old sale basket? Either way, you’re already fulfilling your purpose simply by existing. Humans only wish they could feel this chill.
