Paper Apps are themed solo roll-and-write games printed on the pages of a mini spiral notebook. Each page, level, or challenge has been procedurally generated, meaning each one is unique. All you need to play is something to write with and one d6 die. Oh. That’s not very portable, is it? No, wait. Pencils have six sides, don’t they? Cool, we’ll throw in a pencil with printed numbers, too.
Labyrinth is the spiritual successor to Paper Apps’ first fantasy game, Dungeon. Same vibe with new-and-improved features! Integrated fold-out tracker sheets let you see your stats and your maps during every encounter. Plus, high-tech 3D rendering (illustrations are in-perspective instead of top-down) makes it feel like you’re really there! Crawl two levels battling monsters, finding treasure, and mapping your route as you go. Good luck!
