Paper Apps are themed solo roll-and-write games printed on the pages of a mini spiral notebook. Each page, level, or challenge has been procedurally generated, meaning each one is unique. (No, they’re not generated using AI/LLMs, just good old fashioned, logic-based code.) All you need to play is something to write with and one d6 die. Don’t carry a d6 around with at all times? No problem, each notebook comes with a d6-mini-pencil, a thing you didn’t know you wanted until right now.
GALAXY is Paper Apps’ sci-fi adventure game. Your journey comes with rules, a map, and a place to track your stats and ship upgrades. To get home, you’ll navigate 40 sectors of space interspersed with 6 out-of-this-world encounters and 3 monster battles. Gather weapons and bounty, avoid danger, and fight enemies. Monitor your ship’s shields and fuel. Can you make it all the way through the map? Can you make it home?
