Wither & Grow is a pocket sized, cozy-horror plant monster simulator journaling game. You play as a sentient plant creature that, like all living beings, will grow and change in response to the travails of the world and the passage of time. Some parts of you will bloom and grow. Others will atrophy and wither away. You choose what to nourish and what to prune, whether horror and beauty, or perhaps vengeance and harmony. But you always gain something, and you always lose something. Until it’s over, and you return to the soil.
This is a short (and physically small) game, played over 5 eras using 4 d6 dice. Each era you roll the dice and choose which attribute withers and which grows, and this decision steers the journaling prompt for that era.
Great for swamp things and plant people, and anyone else who dreams of photosynthesis.
