If you are reading this then I guess you want to run a Deck too. I can tell you what I know, give you a head start and maybe keep your soul intact. I don’t know everything. But better you learn it from me and not some corporate-branded social account, that’ll just get you killed.
Did you know you can summon demons, binding them to the playing cards of a standard, poker-sized deck? You can! Wreck This Deck is a solo journaling game with a unique mechanic. Seek creatures of the damned and seal their powers into your Deck by scribbling over, scratching through, and otherwise defacing cards as you go. Feeling like a badass? Become a Deck Runner and use your demon magic in the best way: social justice, baby!
Keep greedy land developers from preying on your neighbors… with demon magic! Loot a chain store and ensure all the kids on your block have what they need to go back to school… with demon magic! Hell, you could probably even bully your local ineffective, racist politician… WITH DEMON MAGIC!
It’s always a good time when an urban, cyberpunk-style world adds the arcane! You’ll turn a regular deck of cards into a beautiful, fucked-up artifact (IRL) and get one over on The Man (in-game). Cathartic fun! Especially if playing inspires you to get out in your community to do a little good (hell yeah).
