The Major Arcana are represented by graceful, unsettling characters – carnival performers, dolls, maidens, fae, and celestial royalty. Each of the Minor Arcana boasts a color theme as well as fantasy imagery. Fiery orange Staves – crystal-tipped wands – point from tomes and toadstools toward the heavens. Mustard-colored Coins bloom and multiply while violet Swords are suspended, wielded, or aimed straight through the ribs. And, finally, crimson Cups – lunar chalices – overflow with inspiration from champagne fountains, mythical ponds, and gentle rain.
