Tether is a surreal horror duet in which two people – both residents of the same quiet town, though decades apart – discover a supernatural journal and use it to converse across time. An ancient, malevolent entity – The Terror – plagues your town, waking once a generation to cause death and destruction. But The Terror has a weakness, and using your journal – The Tether – the two of you can find it. Take turns writing one another letters. Through playing card draws and journaling prompts, you’ll attempt to unravel the mystery. Investigate locations. Share information and theories. The Tether grants you 16 turns – can you piece together the truth and triumph?

Tether is all the time-weirdness of Dark plus a deliciously horrific, It-style creature-curse. Play with the journal of your choice or use the Tether Journal, a haunting, immersive artifact created by Pandion Games. The Tether Journal is 44 pages long and includes sections for recording characters and setting (including noting lines and veils), tracking your card draws, and, of course, letter-writing.
