Admittedly, Strollplaying is not poised to become a similar international sensation, but these games are chill, real-world TTRPG field trips. Is the weather nice today? Feeling kinda restless? Maybe you’re fascinated by the vibe of a historic building or you regularly pass an empty storefront you’re sure is haunted. It’s fun to explore!
The Strollplaying Trio includes three field notebooks with game rules printed inside and plenty of blank space to play. A New Landscape challenges you to build an island world with your favorite features from your surroundings. How To Make A Ghost Story imbues any place, from overgrown gardens to abandoned gas stations to classically gothic homes, with haunting tales of woe. Reclaim asks you to play a gentle force of entropy, sketching the buildings around you before overtaking them with plants, trees, and winding vines.
