Avast, ye! This one’s not a role-playing game! This one is a pure, unadulterated, turn-based, classic naval duel. You’ve got minis-ish (color illustrated cards). You’ve got a playing field (the ocean, er, your table). You’ve got terminology, range rules, movement order, and best of all, you’ve got ramming.
Soaked In Blood is part of Ready Play Games, a series of one-shot, card-based RPGs with unexpected historical twists. It is the only war game in this series, It’s pretty clear you’re pirates, though, so… y’know… if you feel so inclined, we encourage you to create your own rival sea captains.
