A few delicately folded papers and a whole marine universe comes to life. Create your own ocean. Assemble your hand, place cards for their effect and decide if you want to end the round. But you have to choose: stop the round immediately or give the others an extra turn to try to widen the gap. Is it worth taking the risk?
Sea Salt & Paper is a Rummy-like, set collecting, hand-building game… with a nautical twist! Every card is adorned with photography of sea-themed origami created by Pierre-Yves Gallard. Schools of angular fish. Carefully folded crabs. Tiny boats bobbing atop neatly-creased waves. Create your very own ocean as you draw, match, discard, and combine cards. Play the right combos for special moves, like stealing a papery little shark from your neighbor or taking an extra turn. Can you collect the most points? Once you hit 7, you can even choose to “stop” (everyone scores their hands and compares) or call “last chance” to allow everyone one more round. Come out on top and you’ll get a bonus!
