Description
Manuel Pérez Clemente, better known as Sanjulián, is a Spanish painter known for his magazine and novel covers, such work for the Vampirella or Conan franchises. His style is quintessential euro-pulp: lurid, painterly, and naturalistic. His work has been favorably compared to that of Frank Frazetta, and both painters certainly share a penchant for bare-assed and oiled barbarians (as well as buxom witches and princesses.) SanJulián’s paintings are dark, evocative, and scandalous, and mystery and desire and packed into each of these cards .
- These trading cards are vintage stock and were produced in 1994 by FPG.
- Because of their age, cards may stick together and slightly degrade the print. (Gently flex the cards with your hand before opening to help with this.)
- Each sealed pack comes with 10 random cards, and there are 90 cards in the complete set.
- Chase cards include rare “Metallic Storm” cards.
