Rigged is a solo cyberpunk heist challenge. The job seems straightforward: break into the Atlas Corp system, find the “Black Box,” and snag all the files there for your client. You can do this. Well… you can do it if you balance the most complex hack of your entire career, a finicky state-of-the-art biomechanical computer, and the emotional weight of all of your past failures and debts. Complete this task and you’ll be free. Unfortunately, there are so many more ways to fail than to succeed.
Created with the Wretched and Alone system, Rigged all but guarantees stress, strife, fear, and, perhaps, the tiniest sliver of hope before your eventual downfall. Draw from a deck of playing cards to determine the action – a move in a hostile mainframe, a repair to your rig, a memory revisited. A tumbling tower tracks your energy and a handful of tokens track your progress. In your journal, you’ll tell your story. Can you beat the odds?
