Prisoners of the Elf King is a compact, Dragon Game-flavored TTRPG perfect for a comedic one-shot. You and your pals are dwarves attempting to escape your fates. You are small and mighty. The Elf King’s castle is sprawling and full of danger. There will be action! There will be shenanigans!
Game includes everything you need to get started: character creation, palace encounters, royal NPCs, rules for helping, rules for hurting, and tables galore. Monitor your successes (and amusing failures) with three tracks: Fly You Fools measures your actual escape. Diplomatic Incident measures whether your actions accidentally cause a war. Drums In The Deep gauges whether you, in your frantic digging, release a subterranean terror. Just like our lives IRL, you win some, you lose some.
