Null is a action packed tabletop RPG designed using the LUMEN system. In it, you play as Operators of NET, an organization formed 5 years ago to fight back the wave of sentient nanotechnology rapidly rewriting our world and eliminating life as we know it.
Null is a multi-player sci-fi/action RPG in the tradition of the finest humans-vs-machines media: Terminator, The Matrix, Stargate (the TV show, at least the plot arc with the Replicators). This is a game designed for fast, exciting, play-to-lose one-shots. Maximum drama! Maximum violence!
Create a team of Operators, augmented soldiers who’ve merged with the very tech they’ve sworn to fight. Together, you’ll infiltrate Anomalies, human buildings now transformed into dangerous techno-realities. Within an Anomaly, rooms teem with sentient nanomachines. Complete challenges, kill your enemies. Blast through! Survive! Rest, reload, and upgrade. If you make it to the Anomaly’s center, you’ll face The Root, an all-powerful machine boss. Will you have enough fight left to prevail?
