Description

The cursed Blood Moon hangs over this land always.

You are a witch and cannot abide its reign any longer. You have used your magicks to find a hidden labyrinth, said to hide rings which contain power to control the moon.

A last resort to change your home.

As you step foot into the labyrinth, the Blood Moon speaks,

“Turn back, witch! Everything will be taken from you!”

It’s a little known fact, but many a witch’s power comes simply from their excellent collection of jewelry.

Moon Rings is a solo map-making, journaling game created for the Below A Bad Moon Jam, a collection for which there were two guidelines: the moon’s fucked up and there’s a labyrinth under a castle. So here we go! The moon? Sentient and evil. And the labyrinth? Contains a collection of rings whose magic can help you set things right.

Create the labyrinth by laying out a grid of facedown playing cards. As you flip cards, you’ll explore, revealing the dangers (and rewards) within. Every discovery, however, requires reflection – on yourself, your past, your regrets, your fears. In this way, you’ll uncover the maze’s secrets one by one, hopefully collecting rings as you go. Will you find them all? Will you harness their power to defeat the moon?
