Midnight Muscadines is a cozy-dark adventure game that offers flexible modes of play, and a blend of OSR crunch and narrative-forward gameplay. These oracle cards are designed to help MM players and GMs improvise and develop their adventure on the fly, with a particular focus on solo play.
While these cards are designed specifically for use with Midnight Muscadines, they are packed with useful narrative tools and hooks that any solo player or even trad GM will find useful. There are already many different “swiss-army knife” style oracle decks designed for solo roleplayers and GMs, but this is most story-forward deck that we have seen. If you play card-driven journaling games (like wretched & alone games,) these would be a very handy tool to add to your arsenal.
