Broadly, Geomancy is a form of divination that purports to use stones or the earth itself to seek answers. Specifically, modern use of the term Geomancy usually refers to a historically Arabic form of divination related to randomly producing Geomantic figures, glyphs composed of 4 sets of either 1 or 2 dots, stacked into a column. There are 16 possible geomantic figures, each with defined meanings. The mathematically-minded may notice that this is equivalent to the set of binary numbers 1-16, and binary math can be used to assist the diviner in their rituals.
