FOLK is a love letter to character generation, fan fiction, and storytelling prompts. It began because I love to start telling stories, and I detest finishing them.
Folk is a world building zine filled with people to meet. Within its pages, you’ll find idea seeds for 20 characters – always a name and a portrait, sometimes an age, and a gender referenced on paper but TBD on the world builder’s needs. Each character includes a handful of traits to set their overall vibe, while some include additional (sometimes ominous, delightfully vague) backstory.
It’s Edward Gorey meets world building! Whether you need a handful of NPCs for a campaign or you simply want to let your imagination run wild on concepts, Folk contains a Little Guy (gender neural) for you.
