The Field Agent Handbooks are a series of always-on solo RPGs to play when out and about. They’re written as an in-world artefacts from the 1920s, following the suspicions of the Ætherial Corporation’s Observancy Department with instructions to be carried out by their pendulum-dowsing Field Agents.
Field Agent Handbook: 1925 Leviathan is a solo observe-and-journal notebook game. Love clouds? Spending time outdoors? Imagining strange creatures? Congratulations, you’re now an Operative for the Ætherial Corporation’s Observancy Department! Search the sky for the leviathans who soar there and bring some (much-needed) whimsy to your day. Gather data and note your findings as you sketch, categorize, and muse on the creatures above us. Hey, the sky is a mysterious place. You’re doing good work.
The Ætherial Corporation is a supernatural investigative organization. In the 1920’s, they produced a series of Guides for their Agents, each covering the year’s most pressing matter of observance. These guides have traveled through time and are now available to us, here, in the present. From sky creatures to time pools, mysteries abound! Chill and surreal, each portable Guide includes full instructions as well as integrated note-taking (play) pages. Part LARP, part journaling RPG, play one or collect them all. All you need is something to write with and a pendulum for dowsing.
