Critters at War: Flies, Lies, & Supplies is a card-based World War 2-themed strategy game. Name seem familiar? It’s the sequel to Critters at War: Air, Land, & Sea! Flies, Lies, & Supplies introduces three new theaters of war: Intelligence, Diplomacy, and Economics. And unlike the original, up to four people can play! Use your hand of cards to manipulate and surveil or start a dialog and reach a compromise. Amp up your factories to produce weapons, then fortify your supply lines so all that stuff stays yours. Points awarded after every unconventional ‘battle,’ first to 12 wins.
‘Flies, Lies, & Supplies’ is the anthro reboot of the humans-only, slightly more historically-accurate strategy game ‘Spies, Lies, & Supplies.’ In this game, all rules and card functions are the same but the original’s sepia-toned, grim art has been replaced by vibrant, Saturday morning cartoon-style anthropomorphic animals. Flies, Lies, & Supplies features plenty of houseflies as shady characters (naturally). You’ll also find trench coat-wearing raccoons handing off secrets, fancy foxes doing deals, and rats with their ears to their radios.
Flies, Lies, & Supplies offers standalone play (just this deck) as well as combined play. Mix and match theaters of war with the base game (ex: Air, Land, and Economics) or play in Epic Mode using five theaters from either game (ex: Air, Land, Intelligence, Diplomacy, Economics).
