Description
Chris Foss is a British illustrator and painter known for his colorful, photo-realistic paintings of spaceships that graced many paperback covers and the occasional prog-rock album cover. His spaceships and robots look both carefully realistic in their form and rendering, and absolutely bananas in their color and shape. If you’ve seen the painting of the massive, psychedelic spice freighter from the doomed Jodorowsky Dune film: that’s Chris Foss. All of the paintings in these cards are colorful, dynamic, and frenetic. A retro vision of a weird future that is both highly technical and wildly imaginative.
- These trading cards are vintage stock and were produced in 1995 by FPG Cards.
- Because of their age, cards may stick together and slightly degrade the print. (Gently flex the cards with your hand before opening to help with this.)
- Each sealed pack comes with 10 random cards, and there are 90 cards in the complete set.
- Gimmick cards include rare metallic cards, and autographed cards.
