As camp counselors, your job is to teach, guide, and care for the campers. More importantly, you protect them against any mischief they may get themselves into.
Camp leader Murie has disappeared and, without their guidance, you are left to uphold the mission of Camp Snallygaster and ensure the safety of the campers, who will stop at nothing to find new dangers and ways to injure or kill themselves.
However, with Murie’s disappearance, rumors of something sinister lurking at Camp Snallygaster are rising…

Camp Snallygaster is a solo+ summer camp horror mystery. Slasher nostalgia! Camp drama! Kid mischief! Whether you play with a Camp Ranger (and up to five Counselors) or take on threats alone, you’ll be responsible for both the kids in your charge and identifying (maybe even battling) a dangerous monster.
Camp Snallygaster was built around Lasers and Feelings, a two-skill, d6-based roll over/under system. During character creation, players determine a skill number from 1-6. On an action, players choose a skill (Monster or Counselor). Using up to three dice, they attempt to roll under their number for a Monster action or over their number for Counselor action.
This is Camp Snallygaster’s second edition. It has been revised and expanded, and includes 40 camper shenanigans, 20 problems to solve, 15 locations, and 12 possible monsters. Edition also features solo-specific rules, game loops, and guidance. Game also includes reminders for the use of the X-card as well as Lines and Veils – this is a horror RPG, but you get to decide if that means kid-adventure PG or death-every-ten-minutes, final girl-style R.
