Thrust into desperation by swelling debts, you must gamble on the foul pit fights of Ghoulmorrah in a last-ditch struggle to pay off a merciless syndicate of moneylenders. With looming payments fast approaching, the only way to beat the odds is to sleuth, scheme, and sabotage.
Welcome to the putrid fighting pits of Ghoulmorrah, where glory and gold is earned with the viscous black blood of battle-hardened gladiators. As a player, what role in this spectacle do you inhabit: perhaps that of a bloodthirsty combatant? Nay. A conniving fight manager guiding a roster of fighters? Nay again. A wretched degenerate, indebted to mobsters, hoping to win it all back in one day… or else? Aye, that’s the one.
Bloodsport Gambler is a straightforward but tense betting and light strategy game for 1-2 players. Over the course of the game, you bet on a series of death-matches between fighters, using actions cards to try and tip the scales in your favor and hedge your bets, all without giving away your strategy to your opponent. If you can pay off your debts by the end of the day, you win! If not… well, that’s a real shame. Brought to life by deliciously grimy illustrations and minimalistic old-school design vibes, Bloodsport Gambler oozes grimdark aesthetics (and we do mean oozes.)
