Description
Bernie Wrightson was a comic artist and illustrator with an eye the gross and the spooky. Known for co-creating Swamp Thing for DC comics as well as his lushly illustrated version of the novel Frankenstein, Wrightson’s pen and ink style was detailed and ornate, evoking both pre-war horror comics, as well as victorian etchings. He also worked on concept art for films, including Ghostbusters, Spider-Man, and the Mist, and collaborated with author Stephen King on multiple projects for comics, books, and television. These cards capture Wrightson’s evocative style in all of it’s gory and rotting detail, each vein on each ghoul bulging out at you as you hold them in your hands.
- These trading cards are vintage stock and were produced in 1994 by FPG.
- Because of their age, cards may stick together and slightly degrade the print. (Gently flex the cards with your hand before opening to help with this.)
- Each sealed pack comes with 10 random cards, and there are 90 cards in the complete set.
- Chase cards include rare “Metallic Sternn” cards and Autographed cards.
