1-900-Phantazy is a tabletop RPG homage to 90s-era pay-to-play touch tone phone lines. Explore a dungeon, slay the monsters, collect treasure, and find all the Nexus Keys to save Carpathia! How? Dial in! Use a grownup’s credit card to load your account with 10 + 1d12 dollars, pick your class (knight, ninja, ranger, wizard), and let the Operator (Game Master) connect you to the other adventurers in your party. Oh no, a monster is attacking! Get ready to dial (roll a d6) to battle it! The Operator will tell you what number to press (its target number). Did you do it? Great! Did you hit the wrong number? Oops, you lost 25 cents! Don’t worry, you can earn it back. Just keep adventuring!
Playing with a group? You’ll need an Operator (Game Master), ideally someone willing to wholeheartedly commit to the bit. Rather dial in by yourself? You can do that, too! 1-900-Phantazy includes a solo mode! Game comes packed with retro-inspired art, items to collect, an introductory adventure (ADVENTURE 1: The accursed Tomb of Alzar), and 30 illustrated monsters (like Drunk Slug, Corrupt Coin, and Strange One).
